Dallas Antiquarian Book Fair 2025 Details
The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA) and the Texas Booksellers’ Association (TBA) have formed a partnership to organize and present to the public, collectors, and bibliophiles the Dallas ABAA/TBA Antiquarian Book Fair.
The event will be held June 20, 21, and 22, including a preview night. It will be limited to 75 exhibitors, 50 who are members of the ABAA and 25 non ABAA participants. This will be the only event outside the two coasts the ABAA is hosting and is a new concept for the ABAA and its partner the TBA.
Michael Utt, who is developing the fair for the TBA and ABAA, said: "The concept is to bring together booksellers in the trade to offer the public, librarians, historians and collectors in all fields an opportunity to view unique material from books, manuscripts, maps, ephemera, photographs, association copies and all material related to the printed and written word. The TBA has already reached out to the universities with special collections in the area and all are planning to send representatives to the fair."
Half Price Books and Potter & Potter Auctions will be supporting the event as sponsors.
The venue in North Dallas is a former antique car showroom facility with plenty of space and free parking, 1835 Forms Drive, Carrolton, and the host hotel for the event is the Marriott Courtyard at 1201 Raiford Road, Carrolton.
