Howl!

Just released: Howl, a new film centered on the 1957 obscenity trial in which Beat poet Allen Ginsburg and City Lights bookstore founder Lawrence Ferlinghetti fought to guarantee First Amendment rights for literary works. The movie stars James Franco, Mary Louise-Parker, David Strathairn, and Jeff Daniels. In limited theaters now and into next month, the film is also available through cable video on demand service.
