This week's Rare Book of the Week is White Bull's ledger book dating back to the late 19th and early 20th century. 

Written and drawn by White Bull, the nephew of Sitting Bull and who claimed to have killed General George Custer at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876, it records winter counts of the Sioux plus engagements with battle scenes drawn by White Bull. 

Coming up to auction this week at Morphy Auctions with an estimate of $75,000 - $125,000, the book has 162 pages, 120 with writing, and 33 with drawings.
