York Antiquarian Book Seminar

Applications for the ninth York Antiquarian Book Seminar (YABS) 2023 are now open, offering the chance to learn about the rare book trade from some of the best booksellers and librarians in the country.

YABS is the sister seminar of the groundbreaking Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (now in it's 46th year, the 2023 iteration of CABS-Minnesota runs July 9-14) and was developed and launched in 2014. The event is organised by The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association’s, the YABS Committee with Anthony Smithson and Alice Laverty of Keel Row Books. The course has been fully booked (with a waiting list) annually since it began.

* Bookselling Fundamentals: Business Basics, with Deborah Coltham of Deborah Coltham Rare Books and Sophie Schneideman of Sophie Schneideman Rare Books
